ABOUT RMHC

Alpha Delta Pi’s National Philanthropy is Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). RMHC helps keep families together throughout their child’s hospital stay by providing a home away from home. RMHC’s vision is to “create a world where children have access to quality health care and their families are able to better comfort and support them while actively participating in their care.”

Since Alpha Delta Pi’s adoption of RMHC, over 10 million dollars have been contributed to RMHC. In 2023, the Zeta Lambda Chapter at Texas A&M raised over $37,000 for RMHC. These contributions have gone to help build and sustain over 300 Ronald McDonald Houses located in 30 countries and regions world-wide. The Zeta Lambda Chapter hopes to donate enough money for family rooms to be built in the Baylor Scott and White Hospital and the College Station Medical Center.

Along with fundraising and donating money, the Zeta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi is proud to say that we are very hands on with our national philanthropy. Within the last five years two Ronald McDonald family rooms have been added to St. Joseph’s Regional Health Center in Bryan. Sisters are able to serve these two family rooms along with the Ronald McDonald House in Temple and Houston by providing meals and cleaning for the families.
